But please..... communists and socialists are not 'progressive' in any atom of their being. 'Liberals' isn't the right word either, but it's what everybody called them till they realized it had become a stigma. Since these morons are now embarrassed to be called by the L-word they used to prize it will do fine, esp. if in quotation marks. Also, my good Sir, Covid-19 has done nothing to anybody. It's like bowing low before the enemy and licking his toenails to use his perverted, upside-down buzzterms! As we've seen, "Liberal" had a decent, healthy meaning before peecee took over. "Liberalism's" main trick is to trick things up so nothing normal (e.g. language) works right anymore. Today's so-called liberals (note: saying 'so-called' is a fine alternative to the quote marks) are the most illiberal, close-minded, ungenerous ppl who have ever lived. However, as a result of their word and mind games games there IS no word that quickly, clearly identifies these demoniacs. 'Liberal' is all we've got to work with in everyday writing and speaking -- single or double quotes saves us from appearing to agree with the incorrectness. "Political correctness" is the best term around at present to describe 'liberalism' and requires no quote marks except as used above (discussing the term itself). Many ppl understand it instantly -- not enuff, but many, ditto smacking the 'politically correct' label on something or somebody adjectivally. I of course gamble on people grokking its initials, PC or peecee, as the late, great Olaf Childress used to in the greatest periodical ever printed on paper. Would like to know how many of you 'get' that term on sight -- the few of you that read my stuff. Of course what we want to do is call them communists, Leninists, Marxists, Maoists according to the situation when it comes to the hardcore demoniacs e.g. BLM and Antifa.
