If for some reason you needed more proof that the Capitol Stormers were purposefully allowed to breach the Capitol well, heres a bit of that for you.
Outgoing Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund accused House and Senate security officials of hindering multiple efforts before and during the Capitol riots to call in the National Guard.
Sund told The Washington Post in an interview published Sunday night his first since the events at the Capitol Wednesday that he asked House and Senate security officials in the days before Congress was set to county the Electoral College votes to allow him to request the D.C. National Guard to be on standby in case troops were needed ahead of the pro-President Trump protests.
But the Capitol Police chief, who was officially replaced as chief on Friday after his resignation, told the newspaper that the officials denied the request.
Sund reported that House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving said he wasnt comfortable with the optics of declaring an emergency ahead of the protests, and Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger recommended Sund informally request the Guard to be ready for last Wednesday.
We knew it would be bigger, Sund told the Post. We looked at the intelligence. We knew we would have large crowds, the potential for some violent altercations. I had nothing indicating we would have a large mob seize the Capitol.
The outgoing chief said his request ahead of the riots ended up being the first of six times his calls for assistance would be denied or postponed. When the pro-Trump mob reached the Capitol at about 12:40 p.m., it took about 15 minutes for the west side perimeter to be breached, he said.
If we would have had the National Guard we could have held them at bay longer, until more officers from our partner agencies could arrive, he said.
Sund said at about 2:26 p.m., he requested the Pentagon provide backup on a conference call. But a top Army official said he couldnt recommend Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy authorize deployment, saying I dont like the visual of the National Guard standing a police line with the Capitol in the background, the Post reported, citing participants in the call.
Obviously, the deep state or whatever you want to call it purposefully created a scene where MAGA patriots were marching through the Capitol building.
However I dont think this is going to work out for them.
Firstly, no one did anything violent, other than the cops. The media is showing people these videos, and everyone is saying those people arent violent its the blood-sucking traitor cops that are violent!
So on that level, this is nothing like Charlottesville. At all. Charlottesville had TWP and NSM looking disgusting, it had Richard Spencer, who is probably one of the single most repulsive people on earth, on TV representing the event. This event has the opposite optics of Charlottesville. This event was beautiful, and people loved it.
I think the people who staged it, the people who ordered that there be virtually no cops there, the people who ordered the cops that were there would open the doors, thought that the Stormers would be violent, and damage things, and they didnt.
Of course, this is being used by the government as if it was Charlottesville. They are doing the cracking down on freedom of speech the same way, just worse.
But they do not have the public support. Instead, they have the opposite they have emboldened the entire Trump support base.
The only really bad thing that happened (other than the crackdown, which was inevitable anyway) was that Trump made that horrible statement, which was just frankly completely inexcusable, and I dont care how far out into Q world you are, there is no excuse for that statement.
But in the end: this looked very good; we now have a hardened group of supporters who are on the same level of the Stormers in terms of understanding the total illegitimacy of this system, we now have a potential to move forward.
We are in a much better position post-1/6 than we were pre-1/6, so despite the fact that some of the staging of this was part of a plan by the intelligence agencies, weve been given a gift.
What matters now is how we move forward.
I vote for secession.
We need to start demanding that in all red states. We need leaders. The people will support it, if we have leaders.
The number one thing we do not need is some 2024 bullshit.
Voting is over. Its finished and done.
We need to move forward.
Long Live the Fighters!
