I don't give a rat's ass about social media and don't use it outside of 4um and ZH.

I care about where this is heading. "The lucrative merger between corporate and state" has a name. Fascism.

We've got a front-row seat for the Nazification of America and WWIII.

Damn, it's gonna take a long time to get this monkey off the country's back. I won't make it to the end this time. In the past, I always had a country to return to. Not this time.

Dammit.

This kind of insanity always ends with concentration camps, gulags, cultural revolutions, great leaps forward, secret prisons, torture, killing fields and people “disappearing”. It’s a well-worn playbook. The guardians of liberty are nowhere to be found, the center cannot hold. The dreams of the latter 1700s lasted a long time, but the wheels are coming off entirely now.

This kind of insanity always ends with...

In our new culture of "wokeness," people like to say "Eww, violence never solves anything!" (Except the new generation of leftists)

It's been my experience that in practical application, it does. The problem arises that the end result usually isn't what you were trying to achieve.

These kids that were raised on video games and leftist indoctrination that want to "reimagine" everything, are going to learn a hard lesson from real men that did what they had to do when the time came.

I pretty much got away from computers in the late 90s when I changed careers and haven't kept up on the tech or infrastructure, but was thinking the other day, "Why not set up some kind of digital numbers station?"

What are your thoughts?

And so this is how this silly farce of a country ends ... a cheating scandal at West Point that goes unpunished, U.S. Navy ships that can't even avoid crashing into other large vessels, and Viking Horn Guy proudly grinning for photos while standing at the Senate President's throne dressed in his face paint and Chewbacca outfit.

Today it was revealed that all the meta data of every post, and every deleted post has been archived and sent to the FBI. Every account, every post, and every word that anyone on Paler has ever written, is now in the hands of the FBI, and the meta data contains geographic data of where your post originated from.

Not to mention photos of you, or your license if you became one of their verified accounts. They were indeed an intelligence gathering operation on Trump Supporters and they flocked their willingly because of Dan Bongino, because Dan would never be a traitor or betray his country. After all, he’s on the right. Right?

If they are hailed in the media, and seen on tv, you can better believe they are controlled opposition and should be treated no differently than the rest. There are no good people in media. No trusted sources, no one should be trusted at all.

The time will come when people will have to choose to unplug and form real human relationships with people they trust with their lives if we are to get through the next 4 years of tyranny. Because the leftists are calling for our deaths now. Anyone and everyone who does not agree with their wokethink, is to be dealt with.

Tim pool - "Decentralized or blockchain-based social media."

What are your thoughts?

A decentralized, blockchain type social media platform certainly has merit. The advantage is it could never be shut down by any single entity, and depending on how it's designed, posts might never be deleted. There could be "fact checking", potentially, if it's in the form of popular vote counts up and down. But it could work.

ONe issue is creating the motivation required so people would freely choose to participate in hosting it.

It's very odd watching history being made and revised at the same time. I think at this point, most people have fallen for the false narrative that it was kooky MAGA goons, rather than Soros' thugs that stormed the Capitol.

Had it not been for the few Trump supporters that got caught up in the moment, Soros' terrorists would've killed everyone in the building and torched it. The pols were truly scared.

For the next four years, every time Prez Kameltoe Heels-up fucks up... Trump's fault. When the economy is extinguished with the Dims lockdowns... Trump's fault. Every bad thing... Trump's fault.

Gonna be a long, cold winter. (Edit) We're seeing some form of mass insanity. How the Hell did it come to that?

Yes, all cryptos are down today, with bitcoin down about 20%. It's now at about $32,000 which is where it was about 9 days ago.

I don't know about how to trade BTC via a standard brokerage account, but you can open up an account with a crypto exchange then deposit cash, which could then be traded for crypto, whether bitcoin or many dozens of other coins. I could give you a couple referrals.

(Edit) Bitcoin $34355 -5165 -35.96% Can that be right? Man, not for the faint of heart if it is.

That's almost right. The raw numbers are about right but that's not reflected in the %. 5k out of 39k is only about 13%.

But you manage such potential swings by just scaling it differently. Whereas you might put $10k in a stock that might swing 5% on a big day, you just put $2k into crypto that might swing 25% in a big day. That way the net win & loss yields the same raw $ risk.

And I am confident crypto is here to stay. It's not going away, and that means going to zero is out of the question. 100k, on the other hand is in my view not a question of if, but only of when.

Insurrection. She has no fucking clue as to what the word even means or who was actually running that op. Because it was an op, not organic and the people who followed those Antifa Goons up the wall were directed by some Tier One Operators as you can see them directing them up the wall to scale it.

I watched the video and saw a lot of followers and morons who thought that what they were doing was right but what they did not understand is that they were lured right into a Provocateur Trap.

Had they waited for the vote to be counted and the senate to finalize things, then it might have been organic but this was a staged event to silence any evidence being brought forth and to turn public opinion and nobody in the media is saying it at all. Not even on the right.

Which is how you know places like Parler and everywhere else is part of the control mechanism to ensure nobody sees past the problem and identifies who is creating it.

Oh, I believe you. No problem there, and I agree it's enough to shop elsewhere.

I think all these communication apps already require the phone number to work anyway just so they can be uniquely ID', which should be more than enough to satisfy a police state.

Whatsapp doesn't require any ID, nor does telegram. There's also "Signal" and Gab.

But I'd still like to see Parler sue the crap out of Amazon. They could literally take a $1 billion hit and not even miss lunch.
