Trump released what is probably his final list of pardonees, and it looks like Assange ain't on it, sadly enough. Assange may well die in the UK prison before they even complete the appeal on extradition. Another thing Trump didn't do that disappointed me.

Fox reported on it but only mentioned a few. Bannon is on it, for one. Some rapper is on it too.

Of course, Trump didn't pardon Julian Assange, Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden even though as a group they were nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize by Nobel Peace Laureate, Mairead Maguire. He is no 1st Amendment supporter, except when his 1st Amendment rights were violated. Trump always has been a deep state supporter. He certainly didn't support the 2nd Amendment when he banned firearm accessories such as bump stocks.

Trump promised, "No new wars and to bring the troops home." Instead, the troops are still there and Trump launched an attack on Syria with 59 Tomahawk missiles and threatened war on Iran. He dropped record number of bombs on Afghanistan. He started an economic war with China that the American public is paying for with higher prices.

There is evidence suggesting the Coronavirus was created in the Fort Detrick Biological Weapons Laboratory and possibly released in China. Regardless of whatever is the truth, Trump is always blaming China.

Trump promised to build a wall. However, in areas where no barricades existed before, only 15 miles of new, primary barrier or "border wall system", as it is called by CBP has been built. More was planned, with 378 miles of new and replacement barrier either under construction or in the "pre-construction phase". However, less than half of this will be in locations where no barriers currently exist.

Trumps claims the economy has improved under his administration. Instead, the portion of American workers without work is now at its highest level since the Great Depression.

Trump promised détente with Russia. Instead he had done the opposite. Why deluded Republicans believe Trump's instead of what he actually did if beyond me. Republicans are almost as deluded as crazy leftist Democrats that never heard a mainstream media lie they don't believe and are such extreme followers that like a mass of lemmings they would follow their leaders and other leftist over a cliff.

I've never been a big Trump supporter but I think he did ok. I think i heard that the bump stock and arm brace bans didnn't go through maybe I'm wrong.

From the rest of the stuff you said, it just kind of looks like you don't like Trump. I've done pretty good the last 4 years. Maybe I'm wrong.

I think unemployment was ok until the China virus shutdowns. I don't think I see things your way at all.

POTUS cannot ban such things as bump stocks. That is a regulatory thing done by BATF. ;)

The sanctions Trump placed on China brought them to their knees. Manufacturing jobs were fleeing China and moving to more friendly places such as Vietnam and Malaysia. Even India was getting some of the action. ;)

Manufacturing jobs get moved from China to Southeast Asia because wages are cheaper there. The more living conditions in China improve the more of the worst jobs go to other places. Many of the factories in other Asian countries are owned by wealthy Chinese people.

I'm always truthful except sometimes my facts are wrong and occasionally my logic has flaws. Nevertheless, I'm not convinced that what is said is incorrect.

It is true that I don't like Trump. He is better than Biden but not by a lot. He promised to drain the swamp. Instead, he added to it. All of his Federal Judge and Supreme Court appointees were RINOs and deep state supporters. That is why everyone of his lawsuits over election fraud was dismissed when appearing before the judges he appointed.

I think you're right about it all, and that doesn't begin to complete Tromp's indictment. Both sides of the war have blamed him for the bump stock ban. Didn't he voice approval at the time?

www.google.com/search?q=t...&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

This is not about 'liking' or 'not liking' anybody. We're talking about one thing, the only relevant one here -- his real, ugly record as president. If Tromp voters had concerned themselves more with the job he was doing than how they 'felt' about him, different outcome.

Those zoo bars they call a border wall are pathetic. A photo was promptly published showing one sawed clear through. Of course a wall has never been the answer -- only a return to enforcement of pre-1965 border policies will work, and that's more light years from Tromp's head than the Oort Cloud.

It calls to mind the cornsoyvative hobbyists who this entire time have met my Tromp criticisms with 'So what are you, a Democrat?' Happened just the other day after I called in to the local AM talk show. :-s

Trump was a caretaker president. His record, not his rhetoric and Twittering is Establishment status quo. His America First talk on jobs and trade, his foreign policy, his actual immigration policy, and tax cuts were not all that different than Hillary would have done. Trump’s difference was tone, not substance.

In spite of their socialists beliefs, I believe Democrats are smarter than Republicans. When a Democrats want to get elected in a Republican state, they register and talk like a conservative Republican. Then they vote with the Democrats. However, regardless of how they vote, since they keep saying what Republicans want to hear, Republicans reelect them time after time. Just look at how many times Mitch McConnell and John McCain have been elected.

Trump never was any civil rights advocate. As one who spent his entire life at the top, he doesn't have the full experience of ordinary life.

He is not a Deep State advocate though. While he didn't drain the swamp (hiring Bolton made that obvious if nothing else did), the deep state hated him, which is certainly to Trump's credit. Maybe he didn't really believe in the swamp, but he should now, which is of course too late.

He did promote US workers. He did take on China, also good.

Didn't make any attempt on the US deficit or debt. Bad. Iraq dealings: Bad. Exposing MSM and Big Tech for their bias: Very good.

We never get everything we want in a president but I was glad for the 4-year break from cronyism, at least. About the only things I see as an improvement with Biden is Israel not being cuddled up to, and I wouldn't mind things being eased on Iran, which seems to be in the works.

Yes, yes, yes and yes. Dummacrats play to win and they have the jew money to get it done -- well, horrible neocons too (same thing).

GOPers are political dopers. I really hate to say it, but have had to conclude it's their religion that sets them up for such pathetic behavior. There is simply NO hope for maintream conservs at this rate. As with the Capitol caper, the best they'll do is play at rebellion and end up losing more ground instead of gaining it.

They definitely, absolutely regard politicians as they do God -- a higher species than themselves somewhere high up in the sky. They give them the same kind of extreme leeway they give God, refusing to think critically about them at all -- even about the Democratic ones! It's always about 'LIKING' this one or 'NOT LIKING' that one. THEY'RE CHILDREN, and the brutal shall inherit the earth.

They know nothing of reality or eternal vigilance. Holding Tromp to his promises or even basic standards of mature behavior? Forget it. "3D Chess! Pulling back to spring forward! INSURRECTION ACT!" These idiotic notions kept pushing back the fulfilling of their real responsibilities as Americans.

Ya got me goin'.

They also have Romans 13:1-7 which government is sure to keep them well informed of.

13 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. 4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. 5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.

6 Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.

'Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid' oh, "GOD" is that sick! Purely a modern perversion of the text.

But you're right, Romans 13 is constantly thus prostituted and again, used as an excuse to slip out from duty and responsibility, e.g "ESTABLISH JUSTICE IN YOUR CITY GATES" and "RESCUE THOSE BEING UNJUSTLY DRAGGED TO DEATH".

Yes! That is different than King James which was an excellent translation:

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute [is due]; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

However, regardless of the translation, governments must love it.

Especially with each IRS-enfranchised pulpiteer marinating the pew- sitters in that modern interpretation. At a Lutheran church -- LCMS no less -- I heard it read as "Pay your taxes, both your income and property taxes"!!!

My theory was that he was writing with deliberate ambiguity -- the church would know it meant the church authorities, the politicians would have read it as favoring them. I was both pleased and disappointed to find via Bible resources at the library that it's a standard interp in some circles ;-]

LCMS? Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod? Holy Cross kicked me out in the early 80s, I think, don't remember exactly when.

The beef was me not showing up for some kind of meetings, or something. I was out of the country for most of the 80s through ~mid 90s.

If memory serves, which it doesn't much anymore, most of my time back then was in places not very amenable to Christians.

I'm a church of one. Used to do a lot of charity work for some local churches before my body gave out.
