Poster Comment: He could've really done some good on his way out. He's just a man that stood tall while under attack for five years. I'm surprised he didn't just walk away years ago. I've stood in front of a lot of judges, but never congress. He could've done better, but he did OK, given the situation. Melania sure deserved a whole lot better.

We can say all that, and freedom advocates like us here can complain about what he didn't do right. But you know what? Whatever his shortcomings over the last 4 years, think on this: Trump's greatest accomplishment for all of us, may well be saving us from that unthinkable fate! And it's not just the idea of that corrupt witch holding the office, but all the things she never would have done that Trump did do. Whatever Trump's shortcomings, he does deserve that substantial credit.

Seems to be the degradation of freedoms in a society occurs as the society ages. The more time that passes with a gov in charge, the more freedoms are eroded. I guess that's kinda backwards in how Europe initially evolved, first having kings which gave way to parliaments and such, elected by the people. The rise of the Magna carta and such. But then as govs age, they grow more and more authoritarian again. The UK seems to stand as an example. Over there they throw people in jail for shooting armed burglars. Perhaps it's a human thing.
