January 24, 2021
On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris gleefully tweeted about the 48th anniversary of the landmark Roe v Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision, while adding that President Joe Bidens administration is committed to reproductive health care for women.
According to Fox News, Republican Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee a vocal, pro-life politician took issue with Harriss use of the term healthcare being lumped in with the idea that expanding access to murdering babies somehow qualifies as being in the same category.
On the 48th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we recommit ourselves to ensuring that everyone has access to care including reproductive health care no matter their income, race, zip code, health insurance status, or immigration status, Harris tweeted on Friday.
Lee immediately shot back at the pro-abortion vice president in a tweeted response that immediately went viral.

The governor doubled down in several follow-up tweets, imploring pro-life Americans to mark the 48th anniversary of Roe v Wade by donating to the Hope Clinic, a Tennessee-based pregnancy-support organization.
Join me in supporting healthcare for Tennessee women and the unborn by donating $48 to @hopeclinictoday. #RoeVWade, Lee twe eted.
According to The Hill, Harris statement came at the same time the Biden administration issued a statement of support for the pro-abortion Supreme Court ruling, adding that they will work to codify Roe v Wade into federal law, which would make passing anti-abortion bills like the Heartbeat bills exceedingly more difficult on a state level.
The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe, the White House website stated on Friday.
The new administrations take on the abortion issue couldnt possibly be more contrasting than that of President Donald Trumps stance. According to WNCT, as one of his last acts as president, Trump declared on January 22 the National Sanctity of Life Day.
