The Soviets were responsible for the Katyn Forest Massacre in winter of 1940 before Operation Barbarossa was launched by Germany against the Soviet Union.
He was indeed. He was the terror master behind the Bolsheviks. He and the NKVD were responsible for the extermination of tens of millions of Russians and Ukrainians in the Great Famine of the 1920s and 30s. Most of this was caused by the Bolsheviks collectivism.
I worked with a Ukrainian-American. He told me his Grandmother said they even raked out the root cellars. ;)
