The United States Navy is the largest and most advanced navy in the world, fielding everything from aircraft carriers and maritime patrol aircraft to submarines, destroyers and unmanned helicopters.
At least they have not replaced some of the superstructure of the ships with Aluminum as the British did. They took some heavy losses in the Falklands War with Argentina since the Argentinians had French Exocet missiles. ;)
