The pix are kind of the point. SS is the newest thing in the wonderful world of 'weird' news. These show reality at its most unvarnished, usually with subtle irony and just enuff rightward tilt (though editors would hotly deny it) to keep me happy. REALITY IS RIGHTISTIC.
The news is often horrible, but reality's a witch. Honestly I haven't vetted this one for accuracy but it looks legit enuff that I tho't I'd run it up the flagpole.
The best 'weird' news sites are no longer with us, so it's catch as catch can. newsoftheweird.com is a shadow of its former self and the granddaddy of them all, nuttynewstoday, simply vanished. Oh boy, do I miss that one!
