When questioned by Senator Josh Hawley about if he considers Antifa and Black Lives Matter attacks on the courthouse in Portland to be “domestic terrorism,” Joe Biden’s Attorney General nominee Merrick Garland said he might not, because those attacks happened at night.
Garland said that his personal definition of domestic terrorism is the use of violence or threats of violence to interrupt the democratic process, therefore, attacks on buildings at night probably don’t count.

Reminds me of an old Polish joke...
There were 3 scientists talking about their achievements. One was Russian, another one American, and the other was Polish.
The Russian brags "We were the first in space!".
The American replies "Yes but we put a man on the moon!".
The Polish scientist responds "Ha, we'll do better than that, we're going to send a ship to the sun!".
The other two look at each other and both tell the Polish scientist "That's impossible, the ship would burn up".
The Polish scientist replies "Our great team of scientists have discovered a solution. We'll launch the ship at night!".

Some of my fondest memories of folks are commies trying to work their way out of their predicament.
My most bitter, of late, are of assholes trying to worm their way into the very same situation.
