I'm looking for a grep client for Windows, preferably a win32 client.

Suggestions most welcome.

Well, $300 is a bit out of my ability to pay for a regular expression search engine.

I did find a gnu program on http://sourceforge.net that meets my pocketbook.

Its a fairly complete editing envionment; grep is just one of its tools I use for compiling FPGAs as I have hundreds of VHDL files on some projects.

Well, that's cool; thanks, and all; but I only needed an "ascii word search" program ;). The accoutrements of FPGA programming is beyond my needs.
