The Kennedys have, alas, been mostly toxic in and out of politics, even including Caroline. JFK and RFK died heroes, but for over 40 years after their tragic murders by the establishment we were stuck with despicable Teddy.
This production team's talents are formidable, their voices and accents gorgeous. Wish we could hear them on a nobler subject like maybe Roger Casement. It does Irishness no good to perpetuate the lie that it's "isolationist" for America to keep out of foreign wars -- ditto the "appeasement" smear. People are permanently stuck with a WW2 psychosis that dictates that every mention of anything connected Hitler must be treated in a certain politically/semitically correct vein.
I was polite enuf not to point out that the surname means 'ugly head'. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if instead of continuing to heap sloppy sentimentality on the Kennedy subject, people (A) remembered JFK, JFK2 and RFK for their real, politically incorrect heroism and (B) showed their love for this clan by heeding RFK2's vaccine warnings and research?
The masses are asses when it comes to real heroism. Extremely few of Lady Die's or John Lennon's worshipers give a crap whether they were assassinated or why.
