Medicare Advantage is only for Los Pobres like me. The state pays my Medicare fee of $144 a month. I enroll in a plan of my choice and then pay through the nose every time I see a doctor or get a treatment. An Advantage plan just manages my Medicare charges for me.

If I had money, I don't think I would qualify for Medicare Advantage. If I had money, I would have to pay for my Medicare payment and pay for the Supplement. That would probably be more than my out of pocket expenses for last year which I had estimated to be more than $1,000 before Legal Aid would agree to take my case.

My case was taken. They had a lawyer call up the management of my building and tell them that they could not force to take that Pfizer shot (vaccine). They immediately backed down after the lawyer called.

My Medicare Part A card magically appeared in the mail a couple weeks before I turned 65. Right now I'm paying Mutual of Omaha $148/month for Supplement G, plus my SocSec is lowered by $100+/month for some reason.

Since I don't go to a doctor or use any prescription drugs, these Medicare Advantage plans seem to make some sense, but I don't know where's the "catch" with all their Zero Cost advertising.

Be thankful you don't have to deal with ObamaCare. After the 2019/2020 tax debacle, it took me two months to prove that I wasn't Donald Trump because of that stupid trust fund that went to me and my estranged sister after my younger sister died in late 2019. I was always told that it was supposed to revert back to the government when she passed.

Actually, my half pretty much did by the time I had to pay back all my ObamaCare spiff and the additional income taxes. That tragedy is why I had to get a tax accountant. Christa had to do my taxes twice for 2019 on top of me doing TurboTax initially. This year's taxes were a breeze with her. I sent her and her support gals flowers and chocolates. I got a really nice thank you card back from her and the gals and Bob, whoever the hell he is. Confidence is high that if one of them really believes that I'm a nice of guy that Christa made out in her note and shows up on my doorstep, it'll be Bob. Maybe I should broaden my horizons, but I've got a wee bit of a problem with that.

Anyway, the latest disaster du jour with my identity started when the state sent me a postcard a couple weeks ago telling me my driver's license is about to expire. Evidently, IN/FedGoob requires a "Real ID" now. I'm having a hard time getting the required docs around. They're requiring a birth cert and SS card plus other "proof of residence."

I finally found my birth cert, it was issued in 1979 which is damned odd. I don't remember, but it might have had something to do with a company that I contracted with about that time. My SS card has been MIA for over 40 years. Even SSA says you don't need it as long as you know the number, until now, I guess. They sent me an email today saying I should have it in 5-7 business days if my dreadlocked postman keeps his shit together long enough to get it in my mailbox rather than someone else's.

The final bugaboo may be proving my "gender." It's not listed on my BC, and my expiring DL or USoA FAA Pilot's License aren't acceptable proof of ID/gender. I've got a pretty good idea how to "prove my gender," I just hope it's not cold that day. It's always something with those people.

You gotta be shitting me. What if you haven't made up your mind yet ? Or what if you feel like a troglodyte on Mondays but a very macho super soldier on Tuesdays ? I mean what the fuck ??? It's in the Consti-stupid ain't it ?

I wish I was. If I have to whip out my punky, they'll never know who I am because I'm sure being masked-up is mandatory. I'll wear a rubber just to make sure I don't leave any peckerprints.

There's a perfect example of just how valuable those masks can be and why you should wear two !
