Medicare Advantage is only for Los Pobres like me. The state pays my Medicare fee of $144 a month. I enroll in a plan of my choice and then pay through the nose every time I see a doctor or get a treatment. An Advantage plan just manages my Medicare charges for me.

If I had money, I don't think I would qualify for Medicare Advantage. If I had money, I would have to pay for my Medicare payment and pay for the Supplement. That would probably be more than my out of pocket expenses for last year which I had estimated to be more than $1,000 before Legal Aid would agree to take my case.

My case was taken. They had a lawyer call up the management of my building and tell them that they could not force to take that Pfizer shot (vaccine). They immediately backed down after the lawyer called.

My Medicare Part A card magically appeared in the mail a couple weeks before I turned 65. Right now I'm paying Mutual of Omaha $148/month for Supplement G, plus my SocSec is lowered by $100+/month for some reason.

Since I don't go to a doctor or use any prescription drugs, these Medicare Advantage plans seem to make some sense, but I don't know where's the "catch" with all their Zero Cost advertising.
