I wonder what the expectations were going into the match. It's always a risk for a highly rated team to take on a lower rated team, as they have about nothing to gain and lots to lose.
On the other hand, it should make a statement about allowing transgender fake women to compete with real women.
As far as pay goes, I say it's not relevant. Watching female league competitions can be just as exciting as male leagues. The relative physical capacity of the players is irrelevant. I've watched female softball highlights and find them engaging. It's always kind of fascinates me that female college softball players all have braided hair down to their waste. Seems a virtual requirement for them!
