I suspect it's always been that way:

"...The curriculum at Harvard, like those of other early American colleges and universities, was designed by learned men of "Old Testament" persuasion. Harvard president Mather (1685-1701) was an ardent Hebraist (as were his predecessors). His writings contain numerous quotations from the Talmud as well as from the works of Saadia Gaon, Rashi, Maimonides and other classic Jewish commentators.

Yale University president Ezra Stiles discoursed with visiting rabbis on the Mishnah and Talmud. At his first public commencement at Yale (1781), Stiles delivered an oration on Hebrew literature written in Hebrew. Hebrew and the study of Hebraic laws and institutions were an integral part of Yale's, as well as of Harvard's, curriculum.

Much the same may be said of King's College (later Columbia University), William and Mary, Rutgers, Princeton, Dartmouth and Brown University. Hebrew learning was then deemed a basic element of liberal education. Samuel Johnson, first president of King's College (1754-1763), expressed the intellectual attitude of his age when he referred to Hebrew as "essential to a gentleman's education."

This attitude was not merely academic. A year before the American Revolution, Harvard president Samuel Langdon, declared: "The civil polity of Israel is doubtless an excellent general model [of government]."..."

The Bush family descended from Mathias Busch who was Jewish. Prescott Bush worked for the Rothschilds in funding Hitler along with W. Averell Harriman, a Democrat politician. Never would have been a war if the Rothschilds had not re-armed Germany.

The Bush family descended from Mathias Busch who was Jewish

Do you have any documentation of that part, Horse? It would make perfect sense -- their behavior is 100% commiejew.

Busch means literally 'bush' in German. Many jew surnames are common objects in whatever language: Baum (tree), Katz (cat), Stein (stone) etc. Note that while many English surnames are of the same type, there are few native English-speaking people named Tree, Cat or Stone. Remember the supposedly conservative rabbi Daniel Lapin? Means 'rabbit' in French.

We have got to prove that both the Bushes and Pierces are kikey. It's as hard to do as it is important. A basic google search yields elusive results, but search MATTHIAS BUSCH in this book for the case of a 19th-century murder that reeks of gefiltefish:

ufdc.ufl.edu/AA00035052 /00001

In Hopps, the defendant tried to prove he was insane by demonstrating that he believed, falsely but absolutely, that his wife was unfaithful, and had killed under the influence of his delusion. At trial, he was found guilty, but the Illinois Supreme Court reversed, remanding the decision and ordering a new trial on the grounds that the instructions given to the jury did not recognize the possibility of partial insanity. But while the idea that a person could claim insanity based on either total or partial insanity seemed straightforward, in application it became extremely murky. In trials after Hopps, defendants making very similar claims often lost. In 1888, Mathias Busch brought in expert witnesses to establish that he had killed his wife under the insane delusion that she was trying to have him fired from his job and wanted to divorce him. Even though the case was almost identical to Hopps, the jury refused to find Busch insane and sentenced him to life in prison. Six months later, he had to be removed from the prison and placed in an insane asylum.56

= Elizabeth Dale, 'THE RULE OF JUSTICE : The People of Chicago versus Zephyr Davis'

"I must have been insane because I tho't my wife was trying to get me fired, ergo you have to let me go" in so many brazen words. It matches the 'standup comic' definition of chutzpah a little too close for comfort: 'a guy who kills his parents and then throws himself on the mercy of the court as a helpless orphan'.

What do you know, the book calls this Matthias Busch a 'beer peddler'. Any relation to Adolphus, co-founder of Anheuser-Busch? I know Budweiser is a kosher brand -- pls don't tell me it was jewish from the start!

Ironic that the main case in the above passage is named Hopps ;)

Remember pls folks that the political Bushes we know of are merely the tip of the iceberg. They have (or had) relatives of various surnames filling numerous public offices across the land during the baby boom era. The Spotlight did a photo tableau of them once that went on for at least two pages. Can't get much jewier than that!
