Surprised to learn that they looters were spics.

Latinx. I don't know if that's plural or not. My language gal is dead.

Mike Flaherty: Yeah, it's been there a long time. I wish I knew which corner.

Boy, that's really something -- do all those armed beaners signify govt involvement, and a dumb question by NN? Did the Koreans learn anything from it long-term. (A&E shares a little reality on the subject now that it's receding into history, cf 1990 book Stalin: A Time for Judgment.)

There's a Latinx drug store in a nearby town. On the Cold and Flu aisle they stock Beanex Kleenex.

The Koreans I've known and know are refreshingly and decidedly race- realistic.

Haha, do they sell syrinxes? Or would that be syringes -- wait a minute, we're not Greek.

I'm sure they are on a personal level. But who do they vote for?

Good question. They're professedly anti-communist, so that should preclude their voting democrat or republican. I'll have to verify that.

300,000 Koreans in L.A. and the media interviews a Joo. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

“I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I don’t care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. My affections, being concentrated over a few people, are not spread all over Hell in a vile attempt to placate sulky, worthless shits.” - William S Burroughs

Fortunately there's a lot of lovely news amid the horror, e.g. 'A VERY Bad Day For Prosecutors In Chauvin Trial'. The amount of pushback Bidet and company have gotten is a pleasant shock. I preach doom and gloom in attempting to awaken ppl to the full scope of the horror and motivatem to do some fighting, but nobody knows what going to happen till it does. Reading enemy propaganda can be encouraging ;)

enemy propaganda

The Premier of Poland on the eve of the German invasion was named Budinsky.

Every time the Germans would say something, Budinsky would say the opposite. He was contrary.

This is where the term, "You are a Budinsky." originated because it connotes contrary behavior. ;)

The Germans used prisoners dressed as Polish military as an excuse to launch their attack on Poland.

Poland was simultaneously invaded from the east by the Soviets. The Soviets massacred Polish officers in the Katyn forest and blamed it on the Germans. The Polish officers were all shot in the back of the head by German made 6.35mm pistols that Germany had sold to the Soviets a number of years earlier. Germany called in western reporters to expose the Soviet lies. ;)

Wow ! I'm beginning to think your memory is much better about things you've read over what you actually experienced !

In other news, Magic Johnson's son comes out of the closet and Kamala Harris' return to Oakland to visit a water purification plant is barely noticed. :-/

what you actually experienced

I got the attention of a few people at Wal Mart yesterday telling them about trucking. We would look for "seat covers". That was women in cars. When someone spotted a good one it would light up the CB. LOL
