Update (2446ET): Protests erupted earlier today in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, after a police officer shot and killed a man during a traffic stop. Members of the community protested the police killing of the man that soon turned violent.
Now riot and looting appear to be underway in the business district of the metro area.

Besides the looting, Unicorn Riot is currently streaming live and has said police have declared another "unlawful assembly."
Social unrest is unfolding in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota after a Brooklyn Center police officer shot and killed a driver during a traffic stop Sunday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, investigators have arrived at the crime scene.
There's a significant police presence as community members gathered near the scene following the shooting.
The gathering was initially peaceful but quickly spiraled out of control into a riot.
CrimeWatchMpls tweets, rioters are throwing bricks and other objects at police cars.
Rioters are jumping on top of police cars and heard yelling, "f*ck the police."
Another guy with warrants who decided to play a stupid game with the cops won a stupid prize.
The protesters were already on the scene before anyone else it seems. His mom showed up within an hour of the shooting to beg people not to riot.
While this might be a real shooting I am here to tell you that civil war 2 will likely start right here in Minnesota over a lie.

The ANTIFA and BLM crowd have been here for a week already. Bus loads are coming in every day, and hotels are filling up. This did not need to happen, and the cops knew goddamned well what was going to happen if they did something as stupid as this.
There are blacks paid to riot and this is bonus money as far as they are concerned. Seeing the video, you see these “protestors” trying to take ownership of someone else’s tragedy and grief. It’s not about solidarity or trying to get justice. It’s really just about finding a new excuse to riot and cause problems for everyone.
This is not a protest. It’s terrorism in response to the state terrorizing the people. When someone gets shot by the police it’s a message saying the state can be judge jury and executioner if it feels threatened. This is a dose of reality that white people do not understand because we never hear about how many white people get killed by the cops. If white people were ever told the truth, we might start getting ideas that our lives don’t matter at all.
You see, according to the FBI, 49 percent of the people killed by cops are white. 29 percent are black, 17 percent are Hispanic and the rest are defined as “Other”.
This notion that only blacks are being killed or hunted down disproportionately by the cops is ridiculous. Truth needs to be told to these groups that they are themselves their worst enemies and are quickly becoming the enemies of those who do not wish to be involved.
I am sick to death of cops killing people with impunity, but where I am most offended is watching these “protestors” trying to make it about themselves, and not about actual justice. If you noticed they started shouting the white woman down when she began talking about her son. Like somehow she wasn’t relevant to the conversation.
