The Jet Stream is broken because the earth's magnetism is in decline. This causes droughts in some areas and floods in others. Kentucky has been getting 70 inches a year of rain. Cosmic rays (nuclear particles from distant stars) create clouds and rain. They also energize volcanoes and earthquakes.
