The European Investment Bank will use blockchain technology to issue two-year digital bonds, the latest sign of growing mainstream adoption for crypto only this time Ethereum is taking the spotlight courtesy of the EIB.

Ethereum is the #2 crypto after bitcoin with about 1/10th the market cap of bitcoin. It could dethrone bitcoin, but reputation carries a lot of weight with crypto as well as fiat.

Ethereum is up some 20% over the past several days as is now in record high territory.

I think insider trading was involved as they knew the announcement was coming.

Actually the 1 month chart doesn't really show much out of the ordinary. ETH/USD is in an upward channel, and the current high is within that channel, respecting it quite reasonably.

The ETH/BTC chart shows ETH having gained about 50% vs BTC in the last 30 days. Maybe ETH will start to take a greater market share of crypto from bitcoin. It's certainly technically superior in many ways.
