Yeah. And that my friends means that if you defend your life, you will lose your freedom so it is better to die begging for some criminal to spare your life than to make them beg you to spare theirs for what they have done.

In the America I thought I lived in, I never thought fear, obedience and groveling for mercy were virtues to be extolled. Codependency, stupidity, blind allegiance and of course victimizing people who are the actual victims of violent crimes are all virtues that the mob thinks are beneficial to society.
