Joe Biden just picked a surprising Democrat to be his successor Joe Biden stated that he was a transitional figure.
Few expect him to run for re-election in 2024.
Now all hell broke loose because Joe Biden just picked a surprising Democrat to be his successor.
Joe Biden attended a 2020-style drive-in rally in Georgia to mark his first 100 days in office.
At the event, Biden introduced failed 2018 Georgia Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.
Many on the Left credit Abrams for delivering Georgias Electoral College votes and two Senate election runoff wins to the Democrats through mail-in voting schemes.
Biden made sure to praise Abrams for those efforts.
I want to thank you, Stacey, for empowering the people to vote and to make their voices heard, youve been amazing, Biden stated.
Abrams is expected to run for Governor again in 2022 a position she has pretended to hold for the last four years.
But Joe Biden has a bigger office in mind and claimed Abrams could be President.
Stacey Abrams can be anything she wants to be, from whatever she chooses, to President, Biden declared.
If Stacey Abrams wins the Governors race in 2022 and Joe Biden does not run for re-election in 2024, then Abrams may challenge Kamala Harris in a primary.
Abrams is a very ambitious politician and she may not want to wait the decade it would take to pass Harris in the Democrat Party hierarchy.
Joe Biden tabbing Abrams as a future President likely did not sit well with Harris or her team as they see Harris as the unquestioned Democrat Party nominee.
But that assumption may be wrong.
And Stacey Abrams will certainly try to prove that at some point down the road.

Harris and Abrams in a Primary? That might be a little like Munk and Dunk running against each other. I am sure Harris feels she was just stabbed in the back.
