Meme Poster Comment: It was possible to support a family on the husband's income until Wall Street decided to flood America with legal and illegal immigrants. We added 32.3 million people to our population from 1929 (123 million) to 1950. The first wave was a lot of Jewish immigrants. We did lose at least 3 million Americans to starvation in the 1930s. And we lost 405,000 soldiers during the war but probably another 400,000 after the war died from wounds received during the war. When America's population reached 150 million, we had to begin importing natural resources. We had to print money to lower wages to make jobs for legal and illegal aliens. We also had to print money to occupy foreign nations. And we had to print money to buy trillions of free stuff from foreigners to maintain an illusion of the natural wealth and abundance of the land. It all ends with Hyperinflation, mass starvation and Civil War. Lots of immigrants will leave because their homeland might be a safer place to live. Taxing the rich became profitable for government when wives had to go to work to help support the family. That pushed everyone into higher tax brackets and lowered their spendable income. Lower wages was an effect of over population which also caused higher taxes and more money printing. We need to set the record straight. We probably doubled the US Jewish population from 1920 to 1950. Jews also rose in power as they learned English and their children acquired citizenship by birthright. This enabled US Jews to easily cover up the assassination of JFK by Israel in 1963. FDR had high tax rates but sold tax deductions to the rich for campaign contributions. Inflation kicked everyone into higher tax brackets. JFK cut taxes and the economy boomed. Reagan cut tax rates but passed TEFRA which eliminated a lot of deductions for the wealthy so tax collections increased under his 7 budget years. His first year was an Eisenhower budget. But neither JFK nor Reagan could overcome over population through immigration which forced continual inflation to mask the impoverishment of the working class despite the increase in nominal wages. The gap between productivity and a typical workers compensation has increased dramatically since 1979. Productivity growth and hourly compensation growth, 19482019 (Chart does not post as it is interactive.) https://www.epi.org/productivity-pay-gap/ Productivity gains by labor have always been greater than wages since 1949. But it became worse when immigration drove wages lower. Productivity has grown 4x more than pay since 1979. US population grew from 179,323,175 in 1960 to 248,709,873 in 1990 to 323 million today. When we can no longer trick foreigners into sending us real goods and services for money we printed, our wages and pensions will be cut 60% permanently until we cut our population. The bottom line in the meme above should be changed to this: "Until we decided to flood America with immigrants." Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread
