The Allies killed 58 million people after the other side tried to surrender. The Japanese first tried to surrender to Franklin Delano van Rosenfeld in 1936. The German General Staff sent two officers to London in March of 1939 offering to arrest Hitler in exchange for peace.

My brother, two cousins and a family friend were there on this DAY or shortly after.

My brother never came back, one cousin came back in a box, another cousin became a POW from D Day on. The friend lost a leg and is still alive
