The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable. ~ H. L. Mencken
I'd say he could very well star in a movie as Jesus. Not that anyone really knows what Jesus looked like, of course, but the westernized, modern day depiction of him.
That was exactly what I thought from a distance, but the close-ups were Willie to me.

Well, whatever he looks like, I really enjoy not just listening but also watching him play. He's obviously very, very passionate about his playing. In the above vid, his eyes are closed for 80-90% of performance. In all the vids of him playing everywhere, he's always got an incense stick burning on the neck of his guitar. About 29 mins into the vid above, he gets real serious into the tune he's playing, but that's just one of many times he does so.
I've witnessed some really great guitar playing back in the 80s and 90s when working concert security. I also got to whip a lot of butt, throw out a bunch of jerks and even have a few arrested.
But one time on the north side we had to break up a fight down front. After we took their tickets and threw them out, they started fighting again. Then the cops grabbed them. For them, it was a rotten end to a bad night. ;)
