WWII and Korea? NO...

We were Depression and WWII dregs of society.

Survival for most of us was our goal. The few did well, the rest of went off to war, not Canada.

I was raised on Boston Pops with Arthur Fiedler, the NBC symphony orchestra and such.

Society goes thru periodic frenetic, frantic,loud gyrations of social follow the crowd episodes and call it enlightenment, alas it all falls by the wayside an embarrassment to society. Most people grow out of it over time.
