No one ever screeches cultural appropriation in Russia.

My impression is Russia is a socially conservative place that should be the envy of American conservatives, if they could ever get their heads out of 1970's cold war thinking when us school kids had drills where we crawled under desks in case of a nuke attack (which is about the worst thing you can do in that situation, as the desks would all collapse and crush the hapless lemmings under it).

But MSM needs some external boogie man, and Russia is a logical choice. If the current woke generation would want to actually do some good in protesting conservatives, it would be in un-demonizing Russia.

Of course I had to translate that with my google add-on. I have a hard enough time with Spanish, and that has almost the exact same alphabet. Language ain't my thing. If I moved to Russia, I'd be totally illiterate there for the rest of my life.

Although, a lot of English is spoken there, I think. I actually had a dinner date with a Russian woman who was quite fluent. One of the things she told me was that in at least some sections of Russia, women outnumber men by about a 52:48 margin, which she said is huge. That's why Russian mail-order brides are a common "export" from Russia. It's not gold-mining on their part. Too many women cannot get married there and just want a home/family life.

Saint-Petersburg

It'll always be Petrograd to me. Not really. It was always cold. At least it was at the Finland Station.

Where I be, there are only 2 seasons. Wet and dry. The dry season is about 4 months and the wet season about 8. Temps don't really change. About 50-80 degrees, night/day, year around, and even in the wet season, it's usually clear and blue sky sunny every morning. When it rains, it's always a storm rain. None of this warm-front drizzles here. You'd like it with your Valhalla streak. Such is weather in the mountains.

Houses have no AC, no heating, no insulation, so there are no utility bills of any consequence to kill the wallet.

Goddam... You better not be talkin' bad to me me with Odin.

Didn't you catch the Enemy Below shit earlier today? I should've died many times.

As far as weather goes, Fort Wayne is good. Like everywhere I've ever been. It's always too hot or too cold...

How's that Portland thingy goin'? Supposed to be 116 degrees. only 40 degrees above the record.

Maybe Satan is just gettin' shit warmed up for his homecoming, no?

Temps like that haven't happened in the Pacific Northwest in maybe a thousand years? I'm just talkin'. I used to be a much better meteorologist as a pilot than anybody from flight (fright) service was.

Just talkin' man. Firing up HAARP after it was defunct? Funny that.

I saw that movie a few years ago. It was listed on a friend's favorites FB page. He's also a Valhalla kind of guy and gets a kick out of complete destruction scenarios.

The Enemy Below is far from that, as am I. That was the whole thing about throwing the rope. The two opposing men were in a fight to the end, but the end didn't have to be death.

I'm not sure why you think my being an Asatruar makes me automatically suicidal. Hell, I just want to hang out with my Viking buddies.

My estranged sister wants me to be suicidal. She just wants wants to make sure that she gets her fair share of my shit. There might be a reason that they call "my shit, because it's my shit". I've got her set up for everything from JPMorgan on my death. The other half goes to my buds that drag my carcass out of this joint.

Pin, I'm not a bad guy. With my situation, I'm doin' the best I can. An old stock broker that I used to have a very close relation with about 20 years ago with, told me, "If you die with two hundred bux in your pocket, you worked an hour too long."

There was a bit of wisdom in that, and maybe I was able to help some fellas who get the word out. Saw a bunch of newsies go down, but maybe helped a few formums stay afloat.

Yes, that final scene of brotherhood was good. But the destruction was there as both destroyer and sub got deep sixed at the end.

Nobody ever wins a fight. I guess the deal is being a good enough man and to have the honor to respect the vanquished.

I don't think ANTIFA/BLM understands anything like honor, do you? They just want, like a hungry baby.

feminism and soy craze

It is soy in the human diet that is the cause of feminine attributes in men. The natural estrogen in soy is a killer. ;)
