On Sunday morning, Donald Trump appeared on Fox News and teased a 2024 run. “We’re gonna do very well and people are going to be very happy,” he told host Maria Bartiromo. Later that day, his daughter Ivanka’s in-laws were hosting a private lunch for a would-be rival. According to two sources briefed on the event, Jared Kushner’s parents invited about 20 friends to meet former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley at the Kushners’ beach house on the Jersey Shore. The Kushners’ chef prepared a meal of salad and salmon. At the event, Jared’s father Charles Kushner predicted that Haley would be “the first woman president,” one of the sources said. Some attendees made donations to Haley’s Stand for America PAC. (Charles Kushner did not respond to requests for comment). Haley has made no secret of her 2024 ambitions. During a speech in New Jersey on Sunday night, Haley said she has “a big decision to make at the beginning of ‘23.” (A spokesperson for Haley did not respond to a request for comment). If she runs, as many suspect, it will force Jared and Ivanka to choose between Trump family loyalty and one of their closest political allies (When she left the administration, Haley infamously described Jared as “a hidden genius”). Jared and Ivanka were in Aspen over the weekend and didn’t attend Charles Kushner’s lunch, a person close to Jared said. But last month, the couple was spotted visiting Haley and her husband, Michael Haley, at the Kiawah Island beach club in South Carolina. “They think very highly of Nikki. They get along great,” the person said. Charles Kushner’s Haley lunch is another indication that Haley is aggressively courting religious Jews, who formed a key part of Trump’s base. On Sunday night, Haley delivered a speech in front of 800 attendees at an event on anti-Semitism sponsored by the Chabad of the Shore in Long Branch. Last month, she visited former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Christians United for Israel founder John Hagee. There are no objects too unpleasantly fragrant for this crowd to embrace. The reasons for this were subjective. And objective. Bennett had expected that his statesmanlike decorum and generosity would be requited by the losing side. What he got instead was an unbridled campaign of delegitimization from Netanyahu, his screamers and his harpies. Watching the new opposition leader call Bennett 1,000 different names, just not “prime minister,” was cringeworthy. Another broken norm. Only two of the Likud members who spoke at the “40 signatures” session in the Knesset addressed Bennett as “prime minister” while referring to Netanyahu as “opposition leader.” These were Yuli Edelstein and Yoav Gallant. The rest screamed “Naftali!” at him in a childish, asinine tantrum. On the objective side, every day Bennett is discovering yet another management failure by his predecessor, another item neglected, appointments never filled, decisions not taken in critical areas. For years he believed that Netanyahu was no mensch (well, the language was less polite) but that Bibi was a successful manager. After four weeks, only the first part of this insight remains, in bold. At the Knesset, opposition lawmakers are doing things that were never done before. This is part of their refusal to recognize the new coalition’s legitimacy. They are conducting an endless filibuster over every bill (including those they support), immobilizing the system. This is happening even with humane, consensus issues like the bill on the time limit for preserving DNA samples after sexual assaults. What do they care? There is a government and there is an opposition. Let them burn the evidence, let the rape victims suffer. As prime minister, Netanyahu aimed to burn down the clubhouse with the powerful blowtorch afforded him by his office. Now, with his shrunken power, he is using the parliament to foment more destruction and chaos. The best thing Trump ever did for South Carolina -- besides beat Hildebeast -- was offer Randawa Haley a job, which led to her promptly resigning as South Carolina governor. Glad riddance! Thank God and Greyhound. One of the many stupid and disastrous things Trump did was not fire her two weeks later.

I imagine Hagee the Horrible will try and fix it with the Church people who fly Israeli flags. I expected that Haley would run on the Democratic wing of the Uniparty in 2016 and 2020. She didn't -- but I suspect she discussed it with (((them))). Lately I've thought surely she'll run as a Democrat in 2024 -- but with the Republicans' outright repudiation of everything reputable she'll make a just fine white-cultural-genociding Republican.

it is all cool, the only 2016 promises donnel kept were those to israel. outsider, sure he was. It was 28 days since the government was sworn in. On Monday, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett again found himself in the Knesset, but this time as a changed man. He cast off the abusive father’s shadow. The exaggerated respect Bennett had shown Benjamin Netanyahu at the swearing- in, the thanks he heaped on him and his wife were replaced by fury, which burst forth in a heap of scorn.
