Why not a Hispanic national anthem or an Asian-American national anthem. What about a native American national anthem?
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - According to FrontOfficeSports.com, the NFL is planning to play the song "Lift Every Voice and Sing", which is referred to as the Black National Anthem, in addition to "The Star-Spangled Banner", before what are being termed "tentpole" events in the 2021 season.
It's unclear what constitutes a "tentpole" event, but that will likely include the NFL Playoffs, the Super Bowl, and the NFL Draft.
The NFL has not commented officially on this.
I'd hope they would limit that song to a few events.
