(TheConservativeNews.org) It appears Russia is growing more hostile towards the United States. On Wednesday, July 21, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov conducted a Russian Foreign Ministry meeting to discuss the deteriorating relationship between the two nuclear powers. The ministry stated that the US government provoked an escalation over the last few years. If things keep going as they are, the Russian Foreign Ministry warned the US it would face stiffer resistance from Moscow.

Over the last 10 years, the US relationship with Moscow soured over its invasion of Crimea and the ISIS conflict in Syria. Not helping matters, Democrats spent four years blasting Donald Trumps 2016 campaign, alleging without evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians to defeat Hillary Clinton. Today, the two countries are sternly warning each other about cybersecurity issues.
Perhaps more threatening in recent months, Europes energy policies and Ukraine/Russian political scene grabbed the attention of the US government. US concerns led German Chancellor Angela Merkel to insinuate Germany could pursue economic sanctions against Russia if it uses energy as a threat against Europe or Ukraine.
If sanctions take place against Russia, Lavrov said it would be unacceptable.
How will Biden handle Russia moving forward?
Stay tuned. Its anyones guess.

Trump should have taken up Putin on his offer to "work together to fight the evil in the world."
