When I lived in NW suburban Chicago, I was talking with this chick about her moving in with me.
Her BF was a hot head. He came charging at me. I tried to walk away. But he wouldn't back down.
I tried to get him with a backhand. He ducked and went low on me. So I sat on him and grabbed his hair and mashed his face into the pavement a few times. That took the oomph out of him.
He told his neighbor I kicked his ass. His neighbor said, "He didn't kick your ass. He kicks people's asses for a living."
That was when I was working concert security in Chicago area. It didn't pay enough to get my ass kicked, so I wouldn't let anyone do it to me. I got to whip a lot of butt and throw out some real jerks. Even had to have a few arrested.
One of the Jew boys I worked with on Illinois State Highways said, "That guy is a real starker." Starker was "tough guy" in Yiddish.
When we got the new Lead, Lead Worker at Northbrook yard he said about him, "This guy is a Captain Queeg."
Once the new Lead, Lead said to me, "I'm going to run this yard just like the Army."
I replied, "Does that mean I can roll a frag under your desk?" ROTFLOL
As we age and our testosterone levels wain the limits to our ass kicking abilities become "STARKER and STARKER"!
