One can think of it as each NFT being a unique crypto currency but which has only a single coin in circulation that can't be divided, or can be divided but only into an extremely few number of pieces. I don't get it. I think it's a passing gimic fad thing.
For far less you can get a mail order bride.
An Italian sculptor charged $32,000 for his NFT work of art which actually was invisible as he did not sculpt anything.
