A Denton diner that made headlines for its strict and humorous mask mandate will soon close its doors for good.
It is just one of the thousands of restaurants in the state that are shutting down during the pandemic.
Much like the 50s style memorabilia now for sale, Legends Diner will soon be history less than two years after opening.
The COVID-19 pandemic hit a few months after opening.
“We’re really at a disadvantage here,” said owner Wayne Lacombe. “We have to stop the bleeding.”
According to the Texas Restaurant Association, approximately 9,000 of 50,000 restaurants have closed so far in the pandemic.
The association said anxiety continues to grip the industry with the fast-spreading delta variant. Local

This week we have the annual Free Fair in town on the square. It is free to walk around and look unless you want food or drink, or to go on the various rides.
The local taxi will be shut down since one of the drivers tested positive for the Covid. Many people depend on that for get around and make it to doctor appointments and shop for groceries. I am glad my fridge and freezer are full. ;)

This viral dumb-demic is culling the morons and outing the political feces for the shit eating, bribe taking, baby killing, child molesting, death merchants they truly are.
It also demonstrates just how far gone intelligence and masKulinity are today. Teachers unions and teachers want kids to wear a mask that we know does nothing to prevent illness and likely causes health issues. They want the kids vaccinated when these children have a 99.9995% survival rate that the fucking vaccine can't compete with and the majority of hospitalized idiots for a covid virus or a variant are FULLY VACCINATED.
The incompetence of Americans respecting the thought process is only surpassed by the ability of the elites to know how to take advantage of these zombies that contribute nothing to society and hover like vultures around government offices in order to collect some (entitlements) benefits that others paid for through taxes. (Not to overlook those answering George Soros ads for communist cocksuckers willing to abuse their fellow Americans by burning down businesses and beating old ladies.)
The fucking delta variant hasn't been isolated nor has covid-19. The flu just happens to have been destroyed by covid since there are virtually no flu deaths this year ... really !
