Pentagon spokesman John Kirby on Friday said thousands of ISIS prisoners were released after Biden’s withdrawal from Bagram Air Base.

In July, US troops abandoned Bagram Air Base, a strategic military base in Afghanistan, in the dead of the night.

Afghanis looted the abandoned base and thousands of terrorists were released from the two prisons next to Bagram.

Instead of moving the terrorists to Gitmo, Biden allowed them to be released by the Taliban.

“How many ISIS-K prisoners were left at Bagram and are believed to have been released from the prison there and why weren’t they removed before the US pulled out – to some place like Gitmo?” a reporter asked Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.

Kirby said he “doesn’t know the exact number” but it’s in the “thousands.”

On Thursday terrorists killed 13 US servicemen and critically injured at least 15 more because of Joe Biden’s decision to abandon the air base.

Article doesn't say who did the releasing but implies it was the Taliban. Unlikely.

Could have been the prisoners. Just one trustee could have done it. Or prisoners planning an escape could have taken advantage of the sudden disappearance of US soldiers. An visiting congressman said he saw Marines at the Kabul airport in tennis shoes because they did not have time to get their combat boots. Some were still wearing the same uniform after days at the airport because they left so quickly they left their rucksacks behind.

Story says "were released", not "escaped". Would have been unconscionable for the military to leave them locked in to starve to death. IOW the military must have released them.

ISIS and Taliban are enemies. IOW the US military released enemies of the Taliban who then proceeded to bomb the Kabul airport.

Look at the Lara Logan video I just posted. She says there is a lot of fluidity between the two groups. The biggest ISIS camp in the world was a 30 square mile area shared with the Taliban. Another person who has been there said that the Taliban released the men.

They either had the explosives stashed or they used explosives left behind by the U.S. military. ;)
