Dammit, just when I was ready to get current Generac pricing.

Maybe before the next freeze or flood.

Actually Russia at the same time had their own version of the HARP system. There is a photo of their array on the internet.

You mentioned Generac here on Feb 15 during the Big Texas Freeze. After some study, on Feb 16 I bought some GNRC at about $350, and it's $453.75 now -- up 29.6%.

Thanks.

Who is the president?

I am not so sure it is that guy who hid in his basement for most of the campaign.

In Texas, pick up trucks flying Trump flags kept the Biden-Harris bus from exiting the interstate.

If Biden goes because they invoke the 25th Amendment and the Marxist Harris ends up in the Oval Office, you can bet they would appoint Barack Obama as the new VP. And when Harris finds out that being on the hot seat as CINC is tougher than she ever expected and resigns, that would bring in the Rothschild's choice to bring down America for another shot at it.

Remember when Jerry Ford was POTUS, there were two attempts on his life. This was so that Nelson Rockefeller could take over.

I'll bet they had to fumigate the White Hut after 8 long years of the Obama family living there just to get that funky black smell out of everything.

I knew a guy in Chicago with a German Shepherd. When a black guy would walk past his house the dog would go nuts. Blacks have a different odor about them and the dog knew it. ;)

Except for an old German who had a Shetland pony boarded in his garage. Every year he would hitch it to a cart and drive it in the German-American Day parade. If you lived in Germany and owned a horse and cart you were considered to be wealthy.

He was an insurance broker. He insured a business and was pocketing the premiums. The business burned down and there was no policy. They found him hung in the horse barn/garage the next day.

His kid was helping to fix a neighbor's fence. He hit a nail funny and it took out his eye. :-/

Right now the FED is buying up the short term Notes that are being sold into the secondary markets. How long they can keep that going in unknown.

But China is going to release a 40% gold backed Yuan. When that happens the Dollar will crumble into dust since it is backed by nothing but promises to pay.

At the present time I cannot afford fresh beef since it is so costly. Luckily I have the EBT card for food stamps and that saves me. ;)

I worked concerts with a guy named Fred Gould. I doubt there was any relationship between them. One time his Dad took off driving the family car. He told me, "He's heavily armed."

In Chicago, depending on what neighborhood you lived in, carrying a pistol was a matter of life and death. ;)

I recall how all of the passenger rail lines collapsed in the late 60s,

Richard Nixon signed the Rail Passenger Service Act of 1970. Operations began in 1971. This created Amtrak.;)

Just this year alone, there have been several mass "inoculation" public events in Indianapolis: Colts Stadium (RCA Dome), IMS (Indy 500 track) to gather tens to hundreds of thousands of people previously told to "social distance", but now crowd together to get "vaccine". At least I'm not the only one that realizes how stupid this all is.

Even with air cooling where I work, we are forced to wear a useless blue surgical mask. The humidity non-the-less is still so high I have trouble breathing. And the boss considers not to wear one is an offense for which one can be fired. He told my immediate Supervisor if she sees me not wearing a mask she should tell him.

Does he really think that he can make it stick in court when I sue the corporation for letting me go for such nonsense? None of them are healthcare professionals.

And besides that, who would they get to do the work if I was not there? We have basically been running a skeleton crew for the last several months because the Covid nonsense has caused the bus that brings people in from outlying areas to not be running. You cannot sit cheek by jowl on the bus and social distance at the same time. ;)

Managed to sell off a few loser stocks last week without taking a loss, (DIDI - Chinese UBER, whew - that was a nailbiter), and my Rolls Royce Aeorospace buy was a really bad idea, but I am still way ahead of what I'd be getting from Chase savings account.

Don't that just beat all.

When I worked for State of Illinois, my regular route truck in winter they called a Super Truck. It was 62,000 gross weight which meant you could load more salt on it and stay out longer. The regular 5 ton trucks were 48,000 pounds gross weight.

One time they gave my truck to some kid that did not know what he was doing. HHe was plowing the shoulder at a high rate of speed. maybe 40 or 50 MPH. Way too fast. You jut need to go fast enough to let the snow roll roll.off the end of the plow, maybe 20 MPH.

There was a place contractors had torn out a driveway but that barricades had been knocked down from plowing snow. He hit that and threw the truck into the median. He ripped the plow off the front end and twisted the frame. I think they gave him a month off on that one.

And I bet his clout told him, "I can't do anything about it. You wrecked the truck." LOL

E-Trade.

She follows some hotshot Yankee investment kid on YouTube (I can't listen to him; he talks 400 miles an hour), and gets some ideas from him. Also, one of our daughters is Lady Midas; everything she touches turns into money. She advises her mama, and it's usually good advice.

All that said, my wife has made a few poor choices. In the spring of 2020 she bought Carnival Cruise Lines on its way down. But it went WAY down, and hasn't come back up a lot yet. Maybe never will, what with the new world order and all. But she still refuses to sell??? She's heavy into some high performers, though, which more than offset the occasional blunder.

I'd be happy to tell y'all what she's buying (and selling) if you'd like. And the name of the YouTube kid.

I'm mostly in Texas Instruments (TXN), Microchip (MCHP), Generac (GNRC), and Marathon Petroleum (MPC). Thankfully, all have done well over the last year. And wife and I share some Walgreens (WBA), which I hate, but wife and daughter talked me in to it.

All that said, we're really just dabblers. Couldn't buy a house with what we have in E-Trade. A new truck, maybe -- but I NEVER buy new vehicles.

Whoa. 40-50 MPH is WAY too fast to plow slow.

I met a guy who broke his back plowing snow, and sadly, he's permanently disabled. He was clearing a city sidewalk (in Pennsylvania, I think) with a Bobcat. The blade hit a raised section of concrete and stopped the Bobcat abruptly. He was wearing the seat belt, and the sudden stop broke his back. Don't know how fast he was going.

Marathon Petroleum

My ex co-driver was from Oklahoma. His Daddy moved to Checotah in the 1930s. It was a boom town because of the oil and there was one killing per week.

When he lived in Oklahoma they tapped into an Arco oil pipeline and were siphoning off oil. They filled a 1,500 gallon tank with oil. He told me the inspectors were walking the pipeline route looking for the leak. Not too sure how they didn't spot that big oil tank out there unless is was well hidden. ;)

Same here, I bought AA American Airlines at +-17per, it has jumped to like 22 now and then, but lately more like 19, and BBBY Bed bath Beyond at 24, it jumped to 44 one time but fell again, wish I had ben paying attention but still could sell for more than what savings account pays.

When I buy stock, I spend about a week looking for big losers, and then look for what is trading below average for that stock, then see if they are being sued or indicted (lol), then buy crazy low shit with leftovers from big (100x) buy.

Generac is being class-action sued for securities fraud, but that doesn't seem to have hurt their stock price.

Buying certified pre-owned rides has served us very, very well for 20+ years now.

Although today, I'm not sure that leasing a vehicle wouldn't be the best way to go for a young person who wouldn't have a clue as to repairing any problem under the hood. Who knows?

the sudden stop

When plowing shoulders I would drive with one foot covering the brake.

One time the concrete shoulder ended and there was a bump of frozen dirt. When I hit that the truck came to a sudden stop. But then I was just doing maybe 20 mph. That is as fast as you needed to go unless you were way out in the boonies. Just roll the snow off the end of the plow.

One time the drifting was bad and the wing plow was not available. So I drove the 5 ton truck (dual rear axles) up on the shoulder which was higher than the road since it was curb and gutter.

Some woman stopped and hollered at me, "Do you know what you are doing?"

I said, "I know what I'm doing. Do you know what you are doing?"

Some people need to learn to mind their own business. ;)
