Republicans are so much more stupid than democrats. Republican love Ronald Reagan and yet it is Reagan that changed California from Republicans to Democrats.
When I lived in Chicago we heard that Reagan was going to visit Gordon Tech High School.
That was not very far from where I lived, so I drove over there. Police would not allow people on California Ave where he was coming in. We walked up the alley and found a house with a wide yard and you could see him when he got out of the limo.
They landed the Presidential helicopter in Lane Tech football stadium and drove him about a mile over to Gordon. ;)

Yes, we would have been so much better off with a 2nd Jimmie Carter term.
Do you remember what Reagan's first official announcement was? It might have been on his inauguration day, that was a long time ago.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron. ~ H. L. Mencken
Reagan blessed us with a national holiday honoring the Reverend Doctor Marchin' Lootin' Coon, and that makes up for anything bad that Ronnie might have done.
I'm not sure what you're getting at, but I worked for RR during his entire term and then some. He gave this country some dignity and a decent economy. I think when I cancelled my contract, Prez "I never tongue punched THAT woman in the butt" Clinton was in office. I don't remember.
