When I was active with the Gem & Mineral show in the Chicago area, we had a gemstone dealer. He was set up so potential customers could browse his stock of gemstones.
Some woman with long fingernails had stickum under the nails. She would pick up gemstones and then flick them off into a bag between her legs.
She got caught and was arrested.
But the first show, they did not have Security until morning. I pulled my old Blazer in the hall. I had the Mini-14 along with me so if there was going to be anything going on, I was ready for them.
