Things went kinda kablooie in a big sort of way today. A lot like the Hindinberg. The server was unrepairable and I had to do a complete restore from a backup made on Oct 16. But I was able to make a copy of the 4um DB first, which seems to have been intact, and after the server restore was complete, I reinstalled the DB, and now everything seems normal.

It seems the cause may be a faulty update with the Debian Linux distro.

Let me know if anything seems amiss.

A lot like the Hindinberg.

I know about the Hindenburg. The U.S. refused to sell Helium gas to Germany so they used Hydrogen in the bags of the Hindenburg.

We still do not know the exact cause of that disaster. But if Helium was used there would have been no fire and explosion.

BTW, the hangar for the Hindenburg was used in an episode of Star Trek. ;)

They Shoot Servers (don't they?)

Thank you for the restoration, we appreciate it.

Nice work Neil ! There is much amiss but it's not the 4UM because of your outstanding ability !

Just received a notice that the PTB intend to install smart meters here. I noticed some guys working in a cell tower about a mile from my house and after a little research and a satellite map discovered 5G has also been installed there. I had noticed that the street lamps here had changed to LED. I had viewed a video where a guy showed the LED lamps had a door that exposed the lights and when he opened the door "5G" in large letters appeared.

I am having a hard time believing this shit ! (I do believe it).

Did that to my house a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't stop it.

Did that to the street lights in the alley behind my house where the main utility poles run a year or so ago. The street lights on the street are still standard sodium vapor units.

I hear ya. I wish I could say more, but that would be indiscreet, if you know what I mean.

I started to respond to your statements above yesterday but couldn't locate the NOTICE I had received from Excel Energy. I did find it but had to go to work. The long and the short of it is the energy companies are being pushed along by the FEDS and their accomplices in State governments, you know, shit rolls down hill.

When I approached several of the local officials here none of them had a clue that these things were going on. I know that they are all homeowners and had to receive the same notice. I mentioned to them that we are relying upon them to be aware and if they miss something like this smart meter BS and someone else informs them they need to act.

As everyone here on $UM knows we are living (for now) in bizarro world and seemingly without recourse to avoid being damaged by unreasonable violations of our liberty and privacy.

You live in a large metro area whereas I live in a community of 900 people many of which cannot afford to be forced to pay $237.00 to keep the same meter that they've had on their house for 20 years without a problem and an additional $25/month to keep what they have or Pay about the same to get the new smart meter and face the myriad of health and financial difficulties associated with the 5G and Smart Meter combination about to be unleashed upon therm.

The large metro areas are populated by more woke idiots than here in Sleepy Hollow. That's not to excuse the criminal element in big city politics that is easier to detect and very unusual in a place like this because everyone is related to each other in most cases. It is very difficult to ignore a lifelong resident with a large family all living locally and very proud of their neighborhood and their families.

Anyway, I have to go to work and will keep ya posted. One way or the other the idea that big corporations can invade and deliver things that are harmful to everyone's health and try the patience of burned out old vets that have been contemplating a serious confrontation with the elite shitheads that would deprive them of the freedom they fought to preserve may get a little satisfaction at long last.

God bless !

The WuFlu wasn't a bioweapon. It was a catalyst to get people to (unknowingly) accept having a neural weapon injected into their brains, via their arms.

(Edit) My meter is far away from my living area and my house is sided with aluminum and steel siding. The drywall is all foil backed.

Good moves. I have owned several homes and never have been asked or required to purchase a meter for any utility service.

Now, I have a "choice" to purchase my old meter that's probably 30 years old and seems to be in good order yet the price seems just a tad over the top to me. There is also a brand new smart meter about the same price but the expected life span is only 5 years and the damn thing operates on mm Waves that have been deemed a class 2 carcinogen (when they switch on the 5G that has coincidentally just been installed). These are high frequency waves at low power that need antennas spaced closely to each other so as to create a grid for them to bounce around in and all the while distributing carcinogens to the clouds man, along with all of the information belonging to every customer that might be of interest to some whacko hacker.

This surprise package appears to come without a single benefit and actually looks a lot like coercion to me as I have discovered that many companies and people have taken advance payments and subsidies promising to get these meters installed at break neck speed. None could imagine the termites pushing back and in one case a nice lady pulled a gun on the asshat trying to force install his meter.

I guess time will tell but this place we call America is beginning to look a lot like a third world (communist) shit hole !

FWIW, used/recon electric meters go for about $30 on Ebay I think. I wasn't offered that option. Only let 'em inside the wire or have the power shut off.

That is the "current" definition of "choice" as in freedom of choice !
