Between 2004 and 2019, the United States saw an approximately 300 percent increase in the number of people who consider themselves vegans, bringing that total to about 10 million. In the UK, a 2021 survey found an increase of nearly half a million vegans in just 12 months.[1] As vegan restaurants and specialty grocers continue to spring up faster than kale, its clear veganism is far more than a fad. But a big question remains: is it even healthy? Here are ten reasons many experts have a legitimate beef with vegans. ============= NN COMMENTS: "The new black", an odd use of the fraze. Headings include 'Leaky Gut Syndrome', 'Staggeringly Serious: B12 Deficiency', 'GM-Oh, No: Meat Substitutes' -- etc. I'm really not trying to bust any vegans or or vegetarians here -- god knows I should prolly be less carniverous meself -- but thought this LV page was worth running up the flagpole. A huge disappointment to me per the page is almond milk. I'd been thinking it was perfect in every way, but nothing of the kind. You can't win! I admire the intention of veg'ism. I really do. Wish it would work for me, but I go mad if deprived of steak, reubens, chili, turkey clubs etc. AND of course they're discovering that plants are sentient -- they think, feel, send beneficial chemicals to their wounds, and help each other. I had veg'an friends years ago who were very hospitable. Pasta more or less dominated their meals, and it of course is barely food. Shoot all this down, anybody! Have been meaning to join youse guys here much more lately but things get in the way and I'm constantly trying to pry meself off the chair and into an upright, motile position. Yesterday I somehow got in the kitchen and started salvaging it -- felt like a million bucks. Let's make Listverse the site of the day here -- a hectic day and nite of work breathes down my neck. We've shared LV's pages many times. They range from stupid and hateful to brilliant and gutsy, even occasionally right-wing and Revisionist. There's something of interest most days. Apparently its comments dept (bottom of each page) is no longer the vast, snarling snakepit it was, though this topic has naturally het things a little. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus sites 'n' stuff I have open: https://freekyleusa.com/ Break the Matrix had a great history. It's bare bones now, but here finally is a nice clear explanation of both NFTs and blockchains -- have never understood the latter: PJW 'The Symbolism Behind Squid Game' (horrible but important): www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIhIDHXgh3U Stray buzzterm never heard of it and it lacks a wikid article: www.bbc.com/worklife/arti...ultural-fit- actually-mean Don't you dare let DS out of your sight for a week: dailystormer.su/holocaust...i-semitic-uk-experts-say/ [sotdzx] Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top Page Up Full Thread Page Down Bottom/Latest Begin Trace Mode for Comment # 2.

LV is stupid far more often than brilliant, and hateful more often than gutsy. Their typical list of Ten Things will have maybe three real, and the other seven strained and silly if not downright stupid. But I'm biased; I have a low tolerance for callow snark. Some of their stuff is good -- thanks, I should look at it more often -- but most of it will kill brain cells faster than watching reruns of Laverne and Shirley. BTW, what does your [sotdzx] mean?
Can't agree that things are that bad -- and when they are, the fun is watching the commenters puncture the content, the author and webmaster. Even the commie moderatrix piles on >;-) ZX are 2 keys right next to Ctrl -- I (being left-handed) usem as markers everywhere on my puter. SOTD stands for site of the day. I keep a list of these pages and the marker is in case I forget to note one's URL.
