The gun was part of plot but why did Baldwin fire it. Was he following the script or just getting the feel of it? If part of the script, why did the director and cinematographer get hit rather than another actor?

I get what you are asking, and Baldwin does seem stupid enough to just be playing, acting tough as it were. But depending on the scene, either of the shoot-ees (I refuse to call them victims at this juncture) conceivably could have been in very close proximity.
Right now I am really pissed about the Cubans that live across the street. The old guy is really nice, but last couple weeks there are some young guys living there (grandkids? Daughter appears to have married dark spick/nig).
The thing that's pissing me off is that someone over there either overfilled the trash can, or missed it entirely, and since yesterday morning there is a small pile of trash sitting on their driveway, spilling out into the street. Spic Jr was sitting in the driveway all afternoon playing on iPad, would have taken him like 3 minutes to clean it up, but I guess I will have to just because I'm a greedy capitalist that only cares about property values. That and I didn't want to get into a fight if I went over there while Jr was watching. I think I could take him, but if they call police it's just not worth going to jail for being a good person.
