Episode #07 "Orsha" "Verstaubt sind die Gesichter" is a series about German soldiers in the Second World War made in Germany.
Contents: Otto and his comrades are on the retreat in June 1944. Adolf Hitler himself has designated Orscha as a permanent place to be held at all costs. The second company is ordered to take a stand and defend the city.
Without a big budget but with a lot of passion and effort we tell the story of the men of the 2nd Company. We refer to read and told experiences to remain as true to history as possible. This work serves to understand the events of that time and should be a message to the youth, who did not experience a great war and hopefully will never experience it. The Germans were in a tough spot on the Eastern Front with the steady advance of the Russians. I would say they outline things fairly well in this short story. ;)
