Incredible is the word. Not incredulous.

Incredible means "too extraordinary to be believed," whereas incredulous means "skeptical." They come from credible and credulous, respectively, as credible describes something that is believable, while credulous describes someone who readily believes or is not skeptical.

From Patrick Henry's 7 June 1788 speech opposing Virginia's ratifying the proposed US Constitution:

"Gentlemen strongly urge its adoption will be a mighty benefit to us: But, Sir, I am made of such incredulous materials that assertions and declarations, do not satisfy me. I must be convinced, Sir. I shall retain my infidelity on that subject, till I see our liberties secured in a manner perfectly satisfactory to my understanding..."
