I spent ten+ years in the barrel chasing that electric, solar, green new deal bullshit. It's all a dead end. The battery tech isn't there, and will probably will never be, the electronics are all to fragile to last, and it's ungodly expensive and labor intensive. I suppose if you're a BSEE/BSME with nothing but time and patience on you hands, it's mediocre at best.

Can you imagine Cap'n Brandon rollin' in one of them big old slab-sided Lincoln Town Cars? He did sometimes.
Me and Pam, Punk, Mrs. Smythe would rent them from Budget Rent-A-Car or whoever when we flew in somewhere. We'd get people to believe we had six kids by Punk going to the swimming pool of the hotels and paying kids a couple of bucks to come to the room and we'd have them tell stories about all their siblings.
Hell, I was only in my early 20s and Pam was ten years my senior, but people would never see more than two at a time. They fell for it everytime. The rest was a mind-fuck.
I miss the bad old days. I'd give my left nut for a picture of her and me back in the day, but photographs were frowned upon from the folks we worked for. It was long before the days of cell phones. It's like I didn't exist between 1980 and 1995. What a ride.
