C'mon man, I know you're smarter than that. You're talking about MIRVing. Multiple impact re-entry vehicles. Of course this happens at "hypersonic" speeds while it's falling from a sub orbital trajectory. Man, it's been that way forever. Are you going to bitch if they put ten megatons on DC?
