When I lived in Chicago there was a flight out of Chicago that was headed from O'Hare to NYC. It was a jumbo jet.
Maintenance was cutting corners and removed a jet engine from the plane mount and all at the same time to save time hen they should have been removed separately.
When the plane was taking off that engine fell off and it crashed in an empty field next to a trailer park. Everyone on board was killed.
I went to High School with a woman that was supposed to be on that flight, but she missed it. That was lucky for her. ;)
