A group of students at Arizona State University are demanding the school expel 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, who was found not guilty of all felony charges against him earlier this month, calling him a blood- thirsty murderer.
Last week, Rittenhouse told Fox Newss Tucker Carlson that he has been taking online college courses at ASU but would like to attend in person at some point. In response, a coalition of leftist student groups called on school administrators to kick him out.
Even with a not-guilty verdict from a flawed justice system, Kyle Rittenhouse is still guilty to his victims and the family of those victims, the coalition wrote in a statement. Join us to demand from ASU that those demands be met to protect students from a blood-thirsty murderer.

The student groups that are part of the effort include: Mecha de ASU, Arizona State University Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, and Multicultural Solidarity Coalition.
Their demands include withdrawing Rittenhouses enrollment, releasing a statement condemning Rittenhouse and white supremacy, reaffirming support for the campus Multicultural Center, and redirecting funding from ASUs police department to the Multicultural Center.
The goal of these demands is to let the ASU administration know that we as the ASU community do not feel safe knowing that a mass shooter, who has expressed violent intentions about protecting property over people, is so carelessly allowed to be admitted to the school at all, a spokesperson for ASU Students for Socialism told Fox News. Our campus is already unsafe as is, and we would like to abate this danger as much as possible.
An ASU spokesperson denied that Rittenhouse is currently enrolled in classes and claimed he has not gone through the ASU admissions process.
Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges after shooting and killing two rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 2020. He said in court that he intends to pursue a nursing degree.
