Photo expert claims WTC-7 damage pic is a fake (name withheld)

Here is one of his/her analysis pics showing the "damage" to have blurred pixels or evidence of photoshopping...

What is shown is a smooth gradation from dark to light, when you inspect the other portions of the photo, there is no uniform changes at all, infact there is "noise". This noise should be present in every portion of the photo. It is absent in those regions depicting residue on the sides of the building. (2 images)

There are some things that are a bit off on this picture, but the damage doesn't seem to be fake in as much as there is a bank of windows that are essentially too dark, that all look the same.

There is a lot of smoke in the photo, but in all honesty, the picture isn't high enough resolution to make a good call. Anything that is less than 400 DPI, is pretty well pointless to analyze. The only time lower res pics are worth looking at, is if they're taken from a digital cam that is at least 5 Megapixels and the photos are 24" X 36". That is about the only way to look for anomalous pixels.

If you look at that picture there are several instances where there are gradiations that are identical to that span they have there.

It's not something that I'd use as a smoking gun, in fact, I have plenty of pictures that I've taken with the same sort of thing going on. It is a naturally occuring pattern that happens in Digital photography. Now... If this was taken with a conventional 35 millimeter camera, and there were a negative laying around, one would be able to tell instantly if it were doctored.

But then again... We're not talking about that sort of thing are we?
