What would have been his 75th birthday just passed a few weeks ago, and this year was the 10th of his tragic demise. Looking for something in my ancient webmail files from before Charter made this utility useless, I came across a historic treasure among YT videos bearing heavily on our time: 'Extra hit piece on Pastor Peter Peters'

Shortly after I discovered and took up rightism e.g. Christian identity in the late '80s, the media pounced on the nascent patriot movement with a vengeance and made a special bugaboo of PPP. They even trotted out Bill Kurtis to damn us -- extremely annoying in view of his iconically serious, in effect conservative style.
I've often harked back (sometimes here) to how at this time the talking heads accused our kind, notably PPP, of all kinds of nice normal things as if they were felonies -- crowning it with anguished wails that rightist leaders were, gasp, PREDICTING A RACE WAR.
Of course we were after 30 hellish years of the civil riots movement -- and now race war is exactly what we've got now for breakfast, lunch and dinner, thanks significantly to these same hate-filled TV personalities.
Pastor Peters had fun with the nonsense, e.g. the comparison to the wacky Heaven's Gate suicide cult: "They think we're out of the same mold as a bunch of castrated queers waiting for a meteor to come and haul them away!" Inside Edition or some such mob claimed the Peters home was guarded by a pack of rottweilers. "Yeah, you should should see 'em," said our hero, "It's ONE dog, missing a leg and blind in one eye!"
So if you hear anybody predicting racial paroxysms in our great land, just reassure them it's just 'mostly peaceful protests'. Let's always remember the great freedom pioneers and the garbage they've had to put up with from (?) people (?) who really should have known better. NN
