What a waste -- but of course that describes our whole military racket.

USA! USA! USA! Bringing you democracy, or else! there were strains of VD that were incurable, and they were first found in the Philippines and then transmitted to the Korean working girls via US military. What a waste...

I just watch 'em because I like sad music. That, and I used to be a pilot.

I've got a bad feeling that the daily NottaVax death count briefing is gonna be a rough one tonight. Cap'n Brandon's salt stain index on my right shoulder registered a zero this morning. I've got a feeling that my black T-shirt is going to look like I dipped it in the Dead Sea and let it dry in the sun tomorrow morning.

I should know between 0030 and 0130. What a CF.

What a classic CF.

What a classic CF.

That's why I never liked flying in controlled airspace. Besides all the commo hassle, I was typically flying in Cessna 150s or Piper Tomahawks which have a quarter to a third of the commercial and military traffic out of FWA. My home base was Auburn (07C) or Smith field on the north side of Ft. Wayne. Don't remember their designation.

I can't imagine what a CF it is now with half the country (and ATC) suffering from NottaVax dementia. I don't even like driving anymore.

I dug out my logbook...

Smith field is SMD. Some N numbers - 757RN (Raunchy Nasty), 89373, both C152s, 80519 C172, the destination is Skenk, I think that was a grass strip, 9352T looks like PA-38 112, that must be the Piper Traumahawk (I spelled that right). That plane tried to kill me and a panicky instructor. I was doing a check ride to let them know I was OK to fly their precious airplane and the engine started acting up. The only way the engine would run halfway right was with the carb heat on. Mr. know-it-all wouldn't let me run with it on, ended up landing back at SMD dead-stick.

Looks like I took my check ride on 26Aug1990 in N89373 out of Auburn (07C). 1.2 engine hours, 0.3 hrs under the hood. 4 takeoffs, 4 landings. FAA examiner's number was GL-18-4.
