If even 3/4 of 'em refused they'dov won -- and how many are already rich enuf to retire if it came to it?

Yes, 3/4 or even fewer refusing would have done the trick.

But the only ones rich enough to retire already have been at it long enough to have suffered traumatic brain injury, thus degrading their reasoning, planning, and negotiating skills.
